The Crescendo Concert Series

The Board of Directors of the Crescendo Concert Series, which has been producing fine music concerts since 1999, regrets to announce that this will be our final season.  This decision was based on several factors.  Financial support from grants, donations, and advertising have decreased; costs to produce high quality performances have increased; and audience size has been steadily decreasing, making it impossible to stage a concert season that has financial obligations of $25,000 or more each year.  

We want to acknowledge and thank all who have made the past twelve seasons possible.  Many volunteers gave time and resources for administrative tasks, preparation, cleanup and marketing.  Charitable and grant organizations provided the major portion of the operating funds.  We especially recognize The Arts and Culture Commission of the City of St. Charles, The Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis, Missouri Arts Council, Target, and The Fox Performing Arts Foundation.  A dedicated group of patrons generously donated funds to support the cause.  Several institutions provided their facilities for performance venues without cost. Performers effusively shared their talent, passion and artistry.  We also extend a profound and sincere thank you to our audience, who loyally and enthusiastically attended the concerts.

The current season has several remaining concerts.  We hope you will attend.  We trust you will be pleased with the final offerings.
